I was more refering to Jesus not being the great Superman like Hero who he could have been with all the power he had, but that like Frodo (who chose to take the ring and destroy it) he chose the way of suffering and death, which you pointed out he did for us, caring all our sins, which of course Frodo could not do. -------------------- Jesus says: I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the bright and Morning Star. Comparing Frodo to Jesus does have its comparisons: Jesus carrying all the sins of the world and Frodo carrying the ring (a symbolic carying of evil). But to get back to the orginal thread starter, I think there are two Frodos: Tolkien's and PJ's. Different views of the same person, neither contrary to the other (IMHO). -------------------- I thank God everytime I remember you.
