Thats funny, I do not believe that it is possible to be compared because the decision to load a ring is very different to take the weight of the sins.

That's true too... imagine all the sins we've ever committed and having it carried by Jesus, I mean... wow.

No, Frodo was clearly human (Hobbit) and just one of the images Tolkien used to show qualities we see in perfection in Jesus. I was more refering to Jesus not being the great Superman like Hero who he could have been with all the power he had, but that like Frodo (who chose to take the ring and destroy it) he chose the way of suffering and death, which you pointed out he did for us, caring all our sins, which of course Frodo could not do.

Lamentably, it is not possible to be compared imaginary beings, with anybody as real as our rescuer, the one that is to the right of God father all powerful one.

Hello, Plaga03! I appreciate your post. Hadn't thought about this thread for awhile. Comparing Frodo to Jesus does have its comparisons: Jesus carrying all the sins of the world and Frodo carrying the ring (a symbolic carying of evil).
But to get back to the orginal thread starter, I think there are two Frodos: Tolkien's and PJ's. Different views of the same person, neither contrary to the other (IMHO).
