Oh, yes! For sure I totally get his reasons as well as respect the decision. I agree that they are timeless as well, King Theoden!

I'm reading a book my friend gave me called "The Bible According to Mark Twain" - it's a collection of a bunch of different writings by Samuel Clemens along with some commentary.
It's not very reverent, but it's quite funny and interesting so far! And it's not at all rude (at least, I don't see how it could be rude)

Clemens was hilarious and a gifted insight into the human mind. Love his stuff. My favorite is Tom Sawyer. Didn't like Huck Finn that much.
I'm still working my way through Lonesome Dove. I have Glenn Beck's "Arguing with Idiots." Trying to get started on it, but "Lonesome Dove" still has my interest right now.

Lonesome Dove seems like it would be a good book to read!!
Currently reading Vampire Hunter D: vol. 7 and Sacred Marriage ( quite the mix, I know >.> ) Both are very enjoyable!

Jim Beaver's Life's That Way - it's a compilation of the emails he began sending when his wife, Cecilia Adams (the daughter of Get Smart's Don Adams), was diagnosed with cancer in late 2003.
I'll be meeting Jim Beaver at the Supernatural convention in Sydney on May 8. Hopefully I finish his book before then; I know it'll be a big topic on the day.

I just finished Daisy Miller by Henry James today. I think I'll start Washington Square by the same author next.
I am not usually a big fan of that genre, but after reading Reading Lolita In Tehran by Azar Nafisi a few months ago, the sections where she talked about these two James books made me very curious about them!
I read Stardust by Neil Gaiman last week though. Loved it!

I'm on the 3rd of story of Asimov's Robot Novels (what the movie, I Robot was loosely based on). In between, I'm reading a lot about the Old West in a magazine that's called..ready? "The Old West."

I always heard that Wuthering Heights was a great book. I'll probably read it one day. I've seen a couple of the movies that have been made from it, and they were good (though I liked the older one better than the newest one).
Still reading I Robot.

The older adaptation is my fav as well. It's a good story, or rather, a well told tale because for sure it is a tragic love story. And I am still reading it. 8-)
