Hello Rosie -

I have always liked this calendar. Perhaps it is because of the wonderful rendition of the Entmoot. I LOVE the interpretations of the Ents in the calendars that I have collected. But Fangorn and the Ents are not common subjects. I have not been able to list more than 15 or so renditions in the hundreds of calendars I own. Suppose that there are "only" 200 different calendars (forgetting the variants with the same illustrations among them.) If there are 12 illustrations in each one, there are then 2,400 different pieces of art. But only 15 with Ents in them. Michael Kaluta's April illstration with 14 or so Ents in it certainly holds the record for the most Ents portrayed in a single scene. Am glad that you enjoyed it!

I always take the time to check through each month's picture.

I didn't know that about renditions of Ents. I did however, note the Ent Moot one to myself as being one I especially liked out of all the otehhr pics, cause I really liked it.

Gorgeous pictures, but I think Farmer Maggot's name seems to be misspelled. Maybe Tolkien just made a funny-looking "a." What do you think?
